At the Nielsen Company corporate headquarters, a new Apex Award winning digital signage installation involving Keywest Technology MediaZone controllers and software is turning heads and capturing attention.

When The Nielsen Company wanted to add fresh, attention-demanding messaging to the lobby of its new corporate headquarters in Wilton, CT, Keywest Technology enterprise partner Verrex Corp., knew just what to suggest: a three-zone digital signage installation leveraging some of the hottest display and digital signage management technology available.

The most conspicuous display among the three zones is an interactive 25-tile Christie MicroTileTM video wall. Passersby can interact with digital signage content displayed on the wall with a simple touch thanks to an infrared motion detector and laser camera.

Another zone features a prominent display of six plasma screens under the control of Keywest Technology MediaZone Pro system. In the third zone, an LCD-based digital sign near the reception desk greets visitors.

In February, Verrex was recognized at the Digital Signage Expo, taking Gold in the Apex Awards business category for The Nielsen Company project. The Apex Awards honor innovation in the development and deployment of technology in the global DOOH (digital-out-of-home) industry. Winners are chosen by an independent panel of five industry journalists.
