Keywest Technology unveils MediaXtreme Media POD

The new MediaXtreme Media POD is a small, affordable single-channel digital signage player offering control over four-layer playback, text effects and other character generator functions.

LAS VEGAS, (April 24)—Keywest Technology today introduced its sleek, new Media POD single-channel controller/player designed for stand-alone digital signage applications where simplicity and ease of use are essential.

The Media POD is a powerful, turnkey system that lets users create, schedule and playback digital signage presentations. The Media POD comes with video input capability, a Web client interface, modifiable templates for easy preparation of digital signage pages and a password authorization and approval feature.

The Media POD’s Web client interface gives users a simple way to build their presentation pages. Users may select the basic appearance of their slide from many pre-defined templates. Text box and image size and location may be modified to create the desired appearance. The Media POD comes with password authorization to protect content and schedules.

The new Media POD supports all popular files for digital signage including standard PC graphic extensions, PC audio including 5.1, PowerPoint (<2003), Flash, MPEG 1, MPEG2 and AVI. It also supports Windows Media MPEG-4, WMA, MP3 and WAV files.
