Lenexa, KS (Apr. 11, 2008) Keywest Technology has announced the immediate availability of MediaXtreme MediaZone , a new turnkey digital signage solution that provides all of the hardware and software needed to produce and schedule playback of professional digital signage channels.

MediaZone eliminates the hassle of sourcing third-party hardware and loading digital signage software tools by providing a tightly integrated hardware and software solution that comes ready to use right of the box.

Keywest Technology makes MediaZone available with four hardware configurations, each matching the specific requirements of different types of digital signage users. MediaZone software functions include:

1. MediaZone editor, which blends common PC media, graphics and audio files in real time in up to four "media zones" plus a background zone.
2. Template-based media management.
3. Broadcast-quality 24-bit graphics character generation with support for all standard PC graphic extensions and TruType fonts.
4. Built-in logo, crawl and scroll functionality

 
An optional RF tuner adds ATSC, NTSC, PAL and cable reception to MediaZone for integration of picture-in-picture television channels into digital signage pages.
