LAS VEGAS, NV, (April 15, 2007)-- Keywest Technology today at NAB2007 introduced the MediaXtreme-HD, a powerful, yet affordable downstream media content server with a powerful built-in 3-D DVE for on-air broadcast and cable TV use.

As broadcaster look to augment their channel offerings with a variety of SD multicast options, the MediaXtreme-HD gives them the tools needed downstream of their playout servers to add branding, graphics, text and 3-D effects to their playout channel.

With the MediaXtreme-HD media server, users can pull back and shrink their main program output as well as playback pre-built animations, graphics and text. The system also includes data capture for easy retrieval and display of weather conditions, news and stock tickers.

The MediaXtreme-HD comes with a broad range of built-in broadcast I/O options, including composite, component, SDI and HD-SDI, as well as a wide variety of 3-D digital video effects, including page turns.

The MediaXtreme-HD also comes with Keywest Technology's Editor and MediaCreator II software. Editor, an advanced digital signage sequencer and management tool, allows users to blend content and develop playlists by dragging multimedia clips and files onto one of six timelines.

Keywest Technology's MediaCreator II software puts the same tools a professional broadcaster uses to create on-air titles in the hands of digital signage content creators. With MediaCreator II, users can create and display high-def fonts, create text and text crawl overlays and build video-in-graphic and wide-screen video displays.

The MediaXtreme-HD comes with Keywest Technology's industry-leading TotalCARE warranty, which includes complete customer support, including one-on-one response to technical, operational and software questions, for the one-year period of the product's hardware and software warranty.
