The new optional software add-on streamlines digital signage network management, allowing a single operator to manage tens to thousands of digital signage players from a single console.

ANAHIEM, CA, (June 15, 2007)-Keywest Technology has introduced at InfoComm International 2007 its Traffic Manager software option for the MediaXtreme media server, Media POD player and newly unveiled MediaXtreme I³  that transforms complicated management of a digital signage network into a streamlined, efficient enterprise under the control of a single operator.

Traffic Manager is a scheduling interface that allows simple control of a worldwide network of tens to thousands of digital signage players by interfacing with a Keywest Technology InfoZone server or sub-server to transmit content and playlists to individual media players on the network. Additionally, Traffic Manager schedules status checks of media players, collects as-run reporting and can even re-route content and playlist sourcing to sub-servers in the event of a main server failure.
