The Keywest Technology MediaXtreme-HDMI brings the same power and flexibility of the company's highly successful digital signage media server to customers wishing to use HDMI connections.

ANAHIEM, CA, (June 15, 2007)-- Keywest Technology today at InfoComm International 2007 introduced the MediaXtreme-HDMI digital signage media server offering HDMI output to support the burgeoning number of HDMI displays and sources.

Supporting up to 1080p resolution, the new MediaXtreme-HDMI comes with easy-to-use software to create, schedule and manage digital signage playback as well as the power to layer multiple on-screen events, like graphics, Flash animation, MPEG-1, -2, -4 and -4 AVC video and text.

The addition of an HDMI-only output version of MediaXtreme positions the digital signage media server to serve the needs of a growing segment of communicators. While HDMI originally emerged as the high definition connection of choice on consumer HDTVs, it more recently has entered the computer domain. For instance, HDMI Licensing LLC recently reported that more than 50 PC products are available with HDMI connectors.

The MediaXtreme-HDMI comes with Keywest Technology's Editor and MediaCreator II software. Editor, an advanced digital signage sequencer and management tool, allows users to blend content and develop playlists by dragging multimedia clips and files onto one of six timelines.

Keywest Technology's MediaCreator II software puts the same tools a professional broadcaster uses to create on-air titles in the hands of digital signage content creators. With MediaCreator, users can create and display high-def fonts, create text and text crawl overlays and build video-in-graphic and wide-screen video displays.
