AVR-8 AV Switcher
The AVR-8 is the perfect out-of-the-box audio and video switching solution for any application that requires schedule automation of multiple video sources.
The AVR-8 can be controlled and scheduled via a network connection as a stand-alone device, or under RS-232 control from our MediaXtreme Broadcast system. Either way, the AVR-8 will switch between eight video and stereo audio inputs and four NTSC or PAL composite video outputs.
The AVR-8 can be used in two configurations:
- Standalone: Connect the switcher via Ethernet to remotely control operation with the AVR-8’s scheduling software. Automatically play out audio/video sources connected to the AVR-8.
- Slave: Use the MediaXtreme Broadcast server's RS-232 serial interface to control the AVR-8. In a slave configuration, machine control and switching are done with a master schedule program.
Out-of-the-box operation makes the AVR-8 the perfect solution for MediaXtreme Broadcast users who need to integrate video and audio from multiple sources into their CCTV channel with all program scheduling under one easy-to-use software package.
