MediaZone Delivers Professional Digital Signage Results for School District Program

Blue Valley School District in southern Johnson County, KS, is giving hundreds of students each semester a good understanding of what a professional business environment is like at its new Center for Advanced Professional Studies building.

“It’s a cutting edge way to educate kids and brings them close to businesses and professionals to give them a taste of what it will be like in the corporate world.” A critical part in creating that professional environment for the building is a network of 18 digital signs relying on an impressive array of Keywest Technology digital signage hardware and software.

The technology lineup includes 18 Keywest Technology media players –one each for the LG Electronics LCD displays situated around the facility- the Keywest Technology InfoZone digital signage management software for scheduling and monitoring digital signage content playback through a web browser, and MediaZone Editor software, used to build on-screen zones for text, graphics, RSS feed scrolls and cable TV content playback.

Keywest Technology, which won a competitive bidding process for the CAPS installation, has become a valued partner of the school district in meeting its digital signage goals, says Tom Brenneman, executive director of Information Technology for the school district.
