HD-Video POD Turnkey System

HD Video POD is the perfect replacement for DVD-based digital signage and other low-cost approaches. Affordable for even the tightest budgets, HD-Video POD steps you up to professional digital signage with the utmost in simplicity. It delivers significant benefits by providing networkability, scheduleability, reliability, and most importantly—HDTV performance. 

The Software

Simple, yet laden with professional features, HD-Video POD comes with the kind of software sophistication you would expect from a much more expensive offering. The control software operates on any Windows® platform including Vista™ and is easy to setup and use. To build a digital signage playlist, simply use the supplied software and drag graphics and video thumbnails onto the visual timeline from the built-in clipboard. Then press the *preview button to view the playlist operation for quality assurance. When satisfied, save the project and schedule it for playback immediately or at a predetermined point in the future. Schedules can be modified during playback without interrupting the on-screen presentation.

The Hardware

HD-Video POD player hardware comes housed in a fanless Linux®-based “mini” chassis that provides years of quality performance with virtually no maintenance or hassles. Sometimes this kind of chassis is called a “network appliance.” Furthermore, it can be integrated into a robust enterprise-wide network with hundreds of individually addressable displays managed from Keywest’s InfoZone media server.

The Media

The HD-Video POD supports the most popular media formats for digital signage including common PC graphic extensions, Windows® Media, MPEG 1, 2 and 4, AVI, DivX® and DVD VOB files.

The Connection

HD-Video POD can be updated via your network over WiFi or Ethernet. Or, just use a USB drive to perform media transfers via “sneakernet”.
